Volunteers… We need you!

The 33rd Annual Run for the Zoo invites you to be part of the fun without running the Run!
All Volunteers receive an official “Zoo Crew” t-shirt that gains you FREE entry into the Zoo on Run day.
There are a variety of jobs available on the following dates:

  • Opportunities:

Packet Pick-Up – help us distribute t-shirts, bibs, and other race necessities to all our Runners at Packet Pick up! This is held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center at 2401 12th Street NW.**
Help us get set up for the big day by loading water, moving supplies, and loading t-shirts! We’ll start at the NMBPS office (1320 Iron Ave.) and finish in front of the Zoo.**
  • Event Day Opportunities:

Including: cheering on runners, passing out t-shirts, helping direct the runners to the awards area, etc.
Pour & provide water to participants along the course. Some setup and breakdown required.**

** These volunteer opportunities are best suited volunteers aged 16 and over. Volunteers under 16 who would like to support Run for the Zoo are welcome to volunteer on Race Day, May 6!
